This night splint sock holds the foot in a gently stretched position while you sleep, so that transition from rest to movement feels less abrupt in the morning.
How It Works
Keeps the Arch Gently Extended All Night
When your foot relaxes during sleep, it naturally drops into a downward (plantarflexed) position. That lets the tissues on the bottom of the foot shorten and tighten overnight. When you stand up and load the foot, those tissues have to suddenly stretch — which is where that familiar morning ache comes from. This sock uses two adjustable straps to hold the foot at a slightly upright angle while you rest. The arch area stays gently extended all night, so there's less of a gap between "asleep" and "on your feet."

Soft Neoprene, Adjustable Velcro, Open Design
The main body is soft neoprene — the same flexible, cushioning material used in wetsuit liners. It moves with the foot and doesn't dig in at pressure points. The two velcro straps let you dial in exactly the right tension for your foot. The open-toe and open-heel design keeps the sock breathable and light enough for sleeping. There's a thin sole plate at the bottom to give the sock its shape when the foot is inside — but it's not meant for standing or walking.

How tight should the straps be?
Firm enough that your foot feels held at a slightly upright angle — but not so tight that it cuts off circulation or becomes uncomfortable. Start looser on your first night and adjust from there. You should be able to wiggle your toes freely.
Can I wear it on the couch, not just in bed?
Yes. It works during any extended rest period — lying on the couch, reclining in a chair, or napping. The key is keeping the foot still and in the stretched position. Remove it before you stand or walk.
Which size should I pick if I'm between sizes?
Size up if you're on the border between two sizes. A slightly larger sock is easier to adjust with the straps than one that's too snug across the foot or ankle.
